Elizabeth Vigil
Instructor/Musician
My parents were musicians and my sibling and I were in lessons very early, performing vocally and on piano. We were also exposed to theater and my love for performing both drama and musicals began with my first casting in community theatre in elementary school. The show ran in a football stadium with a live orchestra and mule-team along with intermission fireworks! I was hopelessly bitten by the theatre bug, had many roles thereafter, and have gone on to coach full-script/score theatre in public school settings. Cello and guitar lessons started in early teen years.

I received a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder where I was a full-ride scholarship winner on cello. I studied voice, cello, piano and music education, graduating with honors in 1983. Since then I have performed professionally vocally and instrumentally, as well as directing choirs, small orchestras, and plays/musicals. I have taught in public, private and homeschool settings in solo and group lesson formats. Additionally I have also had years of experience leading group singing and worship both locally and nationally.
